are you the same David Gale that grew up in Wichita, Kansas in the 1950’s? If so, then we both took trumpet from Cliff Sproul. I have thought about you from time-to-time, how much talent you had with the horn when we were both about 18-19 years old. I recall when you went onto the road with the Woody Herman band – when Bill Chase was as his pinnacle. It must have been an amazing experience to be in the band with that man… So sad that it ended with the plane crash.
Anyway, if you are not THAT David Gale, my apologies. Otherwise, interested in what you have achieved since then. I am sure it will be good.
